Loved this one. It is full of suspense and action and a lot of unknowns. I love dynamic between Cassie Compton and Connor MacLaughlin. I can't imagine this happening but with the bears it's almost always this kind of instant and intense attraction and sexual energy. I have to say there a couple of glaring typo in the reading and I had to stop once of twice and try to figure out what the word was supposed to be.That little slow down did not in any hinder the pace of the story nor the content of this story. How do you top a story where the lead character is hurrying home sobbing after find her boss with his throat slit. You send them and have them be accosted by the bad guys with the good ones there to grab you before they can get to you. This is just one scene of many that draws you in and keeps you turning those pages. I particularly loved the hot, hot, sexy chemistry between Connor and Cassie. The fact that it lead to her having his baby and him not knowing was even better. This one just keeps them coming from all directions.
If you love the bears and their hot sexy nature and a fast moving action packed story this is the ONE for you. I absolutely loved it. I believe you will too.

I really liked this book..I liked it well enough to read the rest of the series..I liked that Connor and Cassie were able to put the past aside and move forward to their future...The book flowed smoothly from start to finish. Connor took Cassie's and the childern's best interests seriously, and Cassie was stand up and let Connor into their lives...A real feel good read...Suzanne
We meet Cassie who is in danger and doesn't even know why? She is rescued by Shifter Squad Six. Will she ever learn why she was attacked? She is attracted to the leader of the Squad and they have a night of fun. 18 months later they meet up again. Will they pick up where they left off or will things be different? Can she handle him coming back into her life? Can they save her life again now that they are after her again?
Two people, one a human woman and one a male bear shifter, meet under very dangerous circumstances. A night of passion is all they had before they were forced apart. But fate intervenes and they meet again, only the danger has not passed, and the tender results of their union is now also at risk. This book had a lot of action, great characters, and potential for future stories of other secondary characters. I enjoyed it tremendously.
This book. This is where it all starts basically for the Shifter Squad Six series. And it's a very good and very strong start to the series. And like the rest of the books, can be read as a standalone as well as in the series.
I have read this series completely out of order, but that doesn't change my enjoyment of the series. It's short-ish but feels longer than it is but it doesn't make you feel like "come on this book should be over and done with already".
It was action packed. Connor and his team went into and go Cassie to save her. The other kept asking about what her boss was hiding. Connor and Cassie got together that night. She end having a baby and he found her at a bar and was trying to get back together again. The people kidnapped the baby and his team went to war to rescue the baby. Theft got together and she told him she was pregnant again while they were getting married
Connor is a bear shifter and part of an elite special ops team. They rescue Cassie and he keeps her safe until she is removed with her new identity and location. Their six hours together were filled with hot steamy loving. Over a year later Cassie goes to a club with her friend and runs into Connor. The Arctics are still after her and she has a surprise for Connor in the form of one rambunctious cub named Monroe. So much fun to read and exciting.
Take one were bear navy seal shifter team six leader who gas to protect his target, add in his target, a voluptuous curvy shoe loving hogging diva, mix in bad guys chasing her, you get one wicked wild story that you can't put down!!! Cassie and Connor, or team leader share one steamy hot wild one night stand. He has found his mate, but, she's just gone!! He can't find her anywhere, until she turns up, seemingly, out of the blue. She's got secrets from the one night, how will he take it?!?! I hate to give away the plot, but, you must simply read this series to find out all the hot steamy delicious details... Very well worth reading!!! I received this gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review. I also purchased it.
